Who We Are
*New Asha Ki E Kiran Sanstha* is a non-governmental organisation working to expand opportunities and improve lives through education, skill development, women’s empowerment, rural development, health and hygiene awareness, and environmental initiatives. We believe that lasting social progress begins when people have access to knowledge, practical skills, essential support, and the confidence to shape their own future.
Our work focuses on helping underserved communities overcome barriers to learning, employment, and social participation. Through our programmes, we support young people in preparing for the workplace, help women develop skills for independent livelihoods, and encourage communities to take an active role in their development.
For us, empowerment means more than providing assistance. It means enabling people to make informed choices, earn a sustainable livelihood, and participate in society with dignity. This belief guides our efforts and connects our diverse areas of work.
Our Journey and Purpose
Over the past nine years, New Asha Ki E Kiran Sanstha has worked to bring learning and livelihood opportunities closer to people who need them. Our journey reflects a commitment to making practical training accessible and helping individuals turn their abilities into opportunities for growth.
We recognise that many young people face difficulties in moving from education to employment. Limited access to training, a lack of career guidance, and gaps between existing skills and workplace expectations can restrict their prospects. Women may face additional barriers, including household responsibilities, limited mobility, and fewer opportunities to develop income-generating skills.
Our programmes seek to address these challenges through accessible learning, vocational training, livelihood support, and community engagement. By connecting these efforts, we aim to help individuals move towards greater confidence, financial independence, and long-term self-reliance.
